 Jon Newby is seeking a permanent deal with Wrexham |
Wrexham have signed former Bury striker Jon Newby on a short-term deal. Newby, 27, has signed on non-contract forms as cover for injured strike pair Lee McEvilly and Juan Ugarte.
Former Liverpool trainee Newby, who is seeking a permanent deal, was released by the Shakers in the summer and has trained with Wrexham and Chester City.
"I'm delighted to have the chance to get back into the game and hopefully this will lead to something else," Newby told the Wrexham website.
