But the stress fracture to his foot that has kept him out for most of the season could prevent him from adding to his solitary international cap.

"His chances don't look good, but we'll see, it'd be great to see him play," said Wrexham manager Denis Smith.

Smith has offered first senior deals to youngsters Michael Jones, Matty Done and brothers Mike and Marc Williams.

He also hopes to find room in next season's squad for striker Jamie Reed, who has spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Glentoran in Northern Ireland.

But Mark Harris and Gareth Evans have been released after failing to make their mark.

Smith says he has been in talks with all his senior players about their contract situations.

"There will be some players released and there may be others who don't want to sign on again next season, but early indications are that the majority want to stay," he told the Daily Post.

The Dragons have also confirmed an interest in TNS captain Steve Evans.

The 27-year-old defender, who led his side to their second consecutive Welsh Premier title this season, is out of contract.
