Wrexham manager Denis Smith praised the contributions of his substitutes in the 4-0 friendly win at Colwyn Bay. After a lacklustre first 45 Smith turned to his reserves, including forward trialist Aaron Samuel and new striker Jon Walters.
"In the second half there was a lot more energy, probably because the lads who came on had heard my comments in the dressing room," said Smith.
"Samuel and Walters have a background in the Premier League and it showed."
