Lawrence took a starring role for Trinidad and Tobago (SportPixs) |
Wrexham defender Dennis Lawrence starred for Trinidad and Tobago at the weekend as they beat Panama 2-0 in a World Cup qualifying match. Coventry striker Stern John had given the home side a first-half lead at Port of Spain in the CONCACAF zone clash.
But Lawrence sealed the points in the 70th minute with an outstanding box-to-box counter-attack.
Lawrence burst out of defence, swapping passes with Dwight Yorke before sending the Panama goalkeeper the wrong way.
