Wrexham will host Rafael Benitez's first game in charge of Liverpool. The pre-season friendly with be played on Wednesday, 21 July with part of the proceeds going to fund Wrexham's youth development programme.
"Liverpool though are stressing that their Euro 2004 players are unlikely to be included," said a Wrexham statement.
The Dragons will also welcome Spanish side Osasuna on 27 July in their final home friendly before the beginning of the new season.
In order to accommodate the lucrative match with Liverpool, Wrexham will interrupt their participation in the Isle of Man tournament.
They will play Port Vale on 18 July followed by Bristol Rovers on 20 July before flying back the next morning to face Liverpool.
Denis Smith's side will then return to Douglas for the reminder of the tournament.
"We've got some top-class games at the Racecourse this time, which is good for the club, good for the fans and good for my players," Smith told the Daily Post newspaper.
