Crowell joins Wrexham
Wrexham manager Denis Smith has strengthened his squad by signing Wales Under-19 international Matty Crowell.

The Southampton trainee has agreed a deal at the Racecourse Ground after impressing during a trial spell.

The move means a return to Wales for the 19-year-old, who started out at Swansea before moving to the Saints to take up a scholarship.

The midfielder said he was delighted to join the Red Dragons.

"It's great that the club has been promoted back into the Second Division and I'm really looking forward to being involved with the first team squad," said the youngster.

Smith told the club's website: "People I know have spoken highly of Matty and he has done well since he joined us for training.

"I hope this gives him the chance to show that he's a very good player and that his potential will develop with us."
