Wolves winger Michael Kightly is close to a return to action after suffering a recurrence of his ankle injury. Kightly scored on his comeback in Wolves' FA Cup win over Cambridge after six weeks out with damaged ligaments.
But the 21-year-old former Grays player had a setback soon after and has missed the last two games.
"I've had an injection and it feels as good as before I first strained it. It now feels fine so fingers crossed," Kightly told Wolves' official website.
Kightly's absence has coincided with the club's worst run of the season. Last Saturday's victory at Scunthorpe was Wolves' first in nine league games.
He illustrated his importance to the team by coming off the bench to equalise and then set-up Wolves' second in their 2-1 win over Cambridge in the third round of the FA Cup.

He soon felt more discomfort in his ankle and, although he is on the mend, will not be risked in the next round at the weekend.
"When I came back last time I could still feel it. I still need to work on my fitness but, if everything goes to plan, I hope to be back in full training at the end of the week," Kightly added.
