McCarthy impressed by strike pair
Wolverhampton Wanderers
Wolves boss Mick McCarthy believes new signings Stephen Ward and Andy Keogh could forge a great strike partnership.

The duo started against Plymouth at Molineux on Saturday, with Ward scoring from Keogh's cross in the 2-2 draw.

"Andy showed he had vision to pass the ball to Stephen who was in a better position to go on and score," McCarthy told the club's website.

"I brought each one in on their own merits but you're always looking for a partnership that works."
