Wolves boss Mick McCarthy heaped praise on Darren Potter after his stunning goal set up a 2-0 win at Oldham in the FA Cup third round replay. Potter is set to complete a permanent move to Molineux from Liverpool and McCarthy said: "We've agreed the fee and we've got an agreement with Darren.
"When the ball came to him, he nailed it and it was a fabulous strike.
"He's been terrific and what epitomises him is he came over and did a great job on the right side and did his shift."
