Wolves have completed the signing of Middlesbrough defender David Wheater on a three-month loan deal. Wheater, 19, played in Wednesday's 3-2 reserve win against Walsall and scored with his first touch.
"David is a highly-rated young centre-back and I am delighted he's coming here," said Wolves manager Mick McCarthy told the club's website.
"We need more players in this department, especially with Mark Clyde still unavailable through injury."
