Wolves boss Mick McCarthy admitted his long pursuit of Jemal Johnson was well worth the wait after his debut goal secured a 1-0 win at Burnley. "JJ's all-round performance was excellent. He caused them problems and he was a threat," said McCarthy.
"I looked at him when I was at Sunderland and if I was still there I would have taken him there, but it's Wolves' gain.
"Burnley had a couple of half chances but in the main we handled it well."
