The goalkeeper, who missed most of last season, said: "It was great to get back out on the pitch after all that time.

"My foot feels sore but it's nothing to worry about because this has been my first full week back in training and I've been doing double sessions.

"I felt a bit rusty out there but I made one or two saves," he added.
