Wolves hope to complete the deal after consulting a specialist |
Rob Edwards has shaken off fears over an ankle injury to complete a 150,000 move to Wolves from Aston Villa. Wales international Edwards has signed a three-year contract with the Molineux club two weeks after the deal - which could rise to 225,000 - was agreed.
A medical revealed the right ankle problem, but the 21-year-old has now been given the all-clear.
Wolves boss Dave Jones said: "I'm pleased to get him, especially after the medicals he has had to pass."
Edwards was not called on by David O'Leary last season and spent loan spells at Crystal Palace and Derby.
