Murray is nearing full fitness |
Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray has been ruled out for up to five weeks with a stress fracture to his foot. The first game Murray will miss is Saturday's derby against Birmingham City, a fixture which could see manager Dave Jones without a number of key players.
Murray is also joined on the sidelines by Joleon Lescott, who underwent scans by American knee specialist Dr Richard Steadman on Wednesday.
Colin Cameron (stomach), Nathan Blake and Isaac Okoronkwo (both hamstring) are all out, while Kevin Cooper is not expected to feature despite returning to training.
"We do have the option of recalling Keith Andrews from Stoke where his loan period is coming to an end at 24 hours' notice if we feel that's necessary," Wolves manager Dave Jones told the club's website.
"But it's no good worrying about injuries. The players with the shirts have just got to do the business."
