 | Camara signs a four-year deal |
Wolves have completed the 1.5m signing of Senegal striker Henri Camara from French club Sedan. Camara, who hit his country's golden goal against Sweden in last summer's World Cup, has signed a four-year deal for a fee which could eventually be worth 2m.
Wolves boss Dave Jones said: "Henri will bring lots of pace and will score goals and he's a long-term signing for us."
Sedan were relegated last season despite 14 goals from the 26-year-old striker.
Camara said a move to the Premiership was an important step in his career.
"It has always been my dream to continue my career in England.
"Salif Diao, El Hadji Diouf and Aliou Cisse have shown the way," Camara said.
Known for his speed and dribbling ablities, Camara does not lack confidence in his own skill.
"I am scared of nothing," he said in a recent interview.
"To score goals, an attacker really has to be high in confidence.
"I know how to attack and how to finish those movements off."
Camara is expected to feature prominently at next January's African Nations Cup in Tunisia.
