Dave Jones has further strengthened his squad for Wolves' final push for the Premiership with the capture of Bradford City defender Gunnar Halle.

Former Leeds and Oldham full-back follows �1m man Kevin Cooper and on-loan Leicester City defender Jacob Laursen into Molineux.

Halle, who joined Bradford from Leeds for �200,000 in June 1999, has moved to Wolves on loan for the rest of the season.

He said: "It has been something of a struggle at Bradford this season but they are almost safe now, which is why I think the chairman let me come here.

"Now I've moved from one end of the table to the other and these are obviously exciting times at Wolves," the 36-year-old Norwegian international told Wolves' website.

And he added: "Dave wanted me to come in and help and hopefully I can do my bit in giving the club that final push towards promotion."
