Woking have signed Ebbsfleet midfielder Mark Ricketts, subject to a medical.
The 24-year-old was out of contract at Fleet, who have not been able to retain any of their players whose contracts had expired because of their finances.
Boss Graham Baker told BBC Surrey: "He's a holding centre midfielder that can also play at right-back.
"I had good reports, I watched him and liked what I saw. Ebbsfleet's financial situation has allowed to go in and get what I think is a quality player."
The former Charlton trainee scored once in 33 appearances for Ebbsfleet last season and also had a spell at MK Dons.
Ricketts is Woking's fifth signing in a week. Defender Jon Boardman returned to the club while former Charlton duo Harry Arter and Aswad Thomas and ex-Welling player Tony Sinclair also joined.
