Woking boss Glenn Cockerill swooped to beat the loan deadline and sign Southampton goalkeeper Michael Poke. The 21-year-old has joined the Cards for a month following Shwan Jalal's move to Sheffield Wednesday.
Poke is yet to make a senior appearance for Southampton but got a taste of first-team football during a loan spell with Northampton last season.
Cockerill also wanted Stevenage's Jon Nurse but was unable to get the striker on loan for a second time this season.
