Gallen rejected the chance of a permanent move to Plymouth |
Milton Keynes Dons boss Paul Ince has signed striker Kevin Gallen, who was also a target for Plymouth. Gallen, 31, who was released by Queens Park Rangers in May, was offered terms by Argyle after spending the second half of last season on loan there.
But he told the Dons' website: "I'm delighted it's sorted. I'm looking forward to playing in the new stadium, which the chairman's shown me round.
"That was a major factor to me joining this club, plus Paul being manager."
Gallen made 366 legaue appearances in two spells with QPR, and has also played for Huddersfield, Barnsley and Plymouth.
He becomes Ince's first signing at Milton Keynes, following the departure of striker Clive Platt to Colchester.
