MK Dons striker Izale McLeod has lost his appeal against his dismissal during Saturday's defeat at Hartlepool and been hit by a five-game ban. The striker was shown a straight red card for an incident involving Pools defender Michael Nelson in the 82nd minute of the match at Victoria Park.
The Football Association rejected McLeod's appeal on Tuesday.
He must serve a five-game ban because it was his third red card of the season and will be out until 20 February.
