McLeod, 20, was signed from Derby last summer and was the club's top scorer with 18 goals last season.

"It's good to get this sorted and it's nice to know the club value what I did for them last season," he told the club's website.

"There was talk of other clubs being interested but I was never thinking of leaving and we have a really good chance of doing something next season."
