Leigertwood signs new deal
Mikele Leigertwood has committed his future to Wimbledon by signing a new contract which will keep him at the club until 2005/06.

The 20-year-old, who is currently sidelined with an ankle ligament injury, is delighted to be staying at Selhurst Park.

"I knew after my birthday back in November that there was a good chance I would get a new deal, and I'm just glad to get it done," he told the club's official website.

"It's a relief to get a long-term contract and I can just concentrate on the football now."
