Leigertwood's Leyton deal
Wimbledon boss Terry Burton
Burton wants Leigertwood to come back a better player
Wimbledon defender Mikele Leigertwood has joined Third Division Leyton Orient on a month's loan.

The 20-year-old centre-half has won rave reviews with a string of solid performances for the reserves.

And manager Terry Burton has told him to come back from Orient a better player.

He said: "You never know how a young player will do in your first team so we are sending him there for some experience.

"He'll learn a lot at Orient and the experience will do him good.

"We rate him highly and we see his long-term future here - he's only a young lad."
