Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez has praised young goalkeeper Lee Nicholls after he was called up to the England Under-19 squad.
The 17-year-old has been named in the 18-man squad for the upcoming European Championships in France.
Martinez said: "Lee has had a fantastic season and deserves his call-up. The experience he will gain at the Championship will be invaluable."
Nicholls received the club's young player of the season award last year.
