 Pollitt is yet to start a Premiership game for Wigan this season |
Wigan have recalled goalkeeper Mike Pollitt from his loan spell at Burnley. Latics boss Paul Jewell wants Pollitt back as cover for Chris Kirkland who pulled out of England's game against Spain with a shoulder injury.
The 34-year-old's month-long loan at Turf Moor was due to end after Burnley's game against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Pollitt has not started a Premiership game for Wigan this season but played four games for the Clarets.
