 Unsworth is looking for first-team football |
Wigan manager Paul Jewell has completed his third signing of the transfer window with the capture of defender David Unsworth from Sheffield United. Unsworth, 33, moves on a free transfer from the Blades where he has spent the last 18 months, although he has not played for the club since October.
Unsworth has spent 11 years in two spells with Everton, and also played for West Ham, Portsmouth and Ipswich.
Unsworth follows Andreas Granqvist and Kristofer Haestad to the JJB Stadium.
