Weymouth caretaker manager Alan Lewer has admitted that the January transfer window is likely to prove a difficult time for the club.
Striker Stuart Beavon is set to command the most interest, after a move to League Two side Bournemouth fell through before the loan window closed.
Lewer told BBC Radio Solent: "There's been a lot of interest in a number of our players, including Stuart."
"On occasions we've only had 14 players available to us."
The Terras are in a period of transition after boss John Hollins was sacked for an alleged breach of contract.
"January is going to be difficult for this club, but we've just got to get on with it," Lewer added.
"We've got to give the players a lot of credit for the way they're fighting for the cause."
Lewer is continuing in temporary charge, but has admitted he would be interested in the job on a permanent basis.
"Anyone would want to have a job in football, but at the moment all we're thinking about is the survival of the football club.
"For me to have the backing of the players is nice, and we just come in and enjoy every day."
