Weymouth have signed Reading midfielder Joshua Webb, the son of former England international Neil, and Cambridge midfielder Sam Cutler.

Assistant manager Alan Lewer said: "Josh could have gone to Wolves or Coventry City on a six-week trial.

"Exeter City and Brentford were also interested in him as well so to beat them to his signature is very pleasing.

"Sam is a very determined and dedicated boy so I am sure he will develop. We are delighted to take him."
