Weymouth have confirmed the appointment of former Chelsea boss John Hollins as their new manager. The 61-year-old replaces Jason Tindall, who was sacked on Monday with the Terras languishing in 19th place in the Blue Square Premier.
"I've been patiently waiting for the right job and the chance to take over at Weymouth was too tempting a challenge to turn down," said Hollins.
"It's clear that Weymouth is a club with lots of potential and ambition."
Former Chelsea, Arsenal and QPR midfielder Hollins has previously managed at Swansea and Rochdale and in the Conference at Crawley Town, between November 2005 and October 2006.

Weymouth chairman Malcolm Curtis said: "After speaking to numerous candidates John was absolutely our first choice for the post.
