West Ham's Carlton Cole taken to hospital for knee scan

West Ham striker Carlton Cole was taken to hospital for a knee scan following the 5-3 Premier League win over Burnley at Upton Park on Saturday.
Cole, 26, was involved in a collision with Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen.
The England striker scored his seventh goal of the season from the penalty spot, despite receiving earlier treatment for the knock.
"It is too early to say but hopefully it's not going to be too bad," said Hammers boss Gianfranco Zola.
The news is a blow for West Ham as Cole had just returned from a hamstring strain against Aston Villa on 4 November.
However the forward, signed from Chelsea in July 2006, is now set for a scan.
West Ham have yet to reveal the results of a scan on centre-back Matthew Upson's hamstring.
The England defender missed the Burnley match after he was injured in training on Wednesday.
West Ham's win was not enough to move them off 17th spot, although they are now only three points behind 11th-placed Burnley.
The Hammers secured their second home league win of the season against Owen Coyle's side in an exciting encounter, with Jack Collison, Junior Stanislas, Guillermo Franco and another penalty from Luis Jimenez adding to Cole's strike.
