West Ham have submitted their appeal to the Premier League after being charged for a breach of rules over the signing of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano. The Argentina pair arrived in August but their registration with third party Media Sports Investment may have broken Premier League regulations.
A Premier League spokesman said: "The Premier League can confirm that we have received West Ham's response."
An independent commission is likely to hear the charges.
