West Ham defender Elliott Ward says his three-month loan at Plymouth was a great experience which made him hungry for first-team football at Upton Park. "Plymouth wanted me to stay for the rest of the season but Alan Pardew said that he wanted me to come back," he told the West Ham website.
"I was sad to leave because I enjoyed it and got used to playing every week.
"I've not spoken to the gaffer so I don't know what his plans are, I'll just work hard and see what happens."
