West Brom hit by Dorrans injury

West Brom's Graham Dorrans has been playing with a broken metatarsal for the last three weeks after an initial X-ray failed to pick the injury up.

The Scot suffered the injury during the 3-0 win over Sunderland on 25 April.

The midfielder, 22, missed the Baggies' 1-0 defeat at Tottenham the following weekend, but played for 55 minutes in the 3-1 win over Wigan last Saturday.

"Last week's X-ray showed nothing, yet this week's X-ray shows a broken metatarsal," said boss Tony Mowbray.

Dorrans agreed a three-year deal with a further year's option in the club's favour last week.

The injury rules the Dorrans out of West Brom's final two Premier League games of the season.

West Brom gave no indication of when Dorrans would be ready to return for action.
