Teixeira was carried off in the 3-0 win over Plymouth

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Filipe Teixeira is scheduled to make his return to action in the reserves at West Ham on 30 September.

Teixeira, 27, has been sidelined since suffering cruciate ligament damage to his left knee in March.

The Portuguese playmaker is back in full training and is keen to force his way into first team contention.

Manager Tony Mowbray said: "He is telling me he is ready to play. He's chomping at the bit."

"I think he's hoping he's going to be involved in the first team as of this weekend, but he's got to shine bright enough to get back into the first team very, very quickly," Mowbray added.
