Phillips was substituted before half-time against Hajduk Split | West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is not too concerned by Kevin Phillips' withdrawal from Saturday's friendly in Croatia. The veteran striker was substituted just before half-time in the goalless game against Hajduk Split. "When Kevin pulls up with a tight hamstring, it's best to take him straight off at this stage of the season," Mowbray told the club website. "Hopefully, that's all it is. You have to bear in mind Kevin is nearly 34, his muscles are taking a lot of strain."
