 | MEGSON'S VIEW |
West Brom boss Gary Megson chose to focus on Robert Earnshaw's penalty miss rather than the red card frenzy after their 1-1 draw against Fulham. "We began well and took the upper hand but I was bitterly disappointed in the manner we conceded our goal," he said.
"We should have taken the lead but Robert's penalty wasn't to a good enough standard.
"That was disappointing because I thought we deserved to be going in at half-time 1-0 up."
He added: "We've got a few players out there that want to take them but when you get on them you've got to be able to convert them.
"It was a big mistake and a big turning point I felt."
