Watford chief executive Mark Ashton has resigned from the club.
Ashton, who has followed chairman Graham Simpson out of Vicarage Road, will be replaced by former community director Julian Winter.
He told the club's website: "I'm very sad to be leaving Watford FC and have nothing but respect for the staff that I leave behind."
Winter added: "I'd like to thank Mark Ashton for his hard work at the club and he'll always be a welcome visitor."
Ashton spent four-and-a-half years at Vicarage Road.
I hope I am able to look back and see a club with a bright future

He added: "I believe we have made so many significant strides during my time, much of which again goes to the hard work of those people I leave at the club.
"I hope I am able to look back and see a club with a bright future and a very, very exciting young manager at the helm.
"I wish him and everyone connected with Watford every success for the future."
