Watford manager Gianluca Vialli has signed young Manchester United striker Danny Webber on loan for the rest of the season.

The England Under-20 international goes straight into the squad for the First Division clash against Bradford at Vicarage Road.

Webber, 20, was a prolific goalscorer in the Old Trafford club's Under-19 and Under-17 sides and made his first-team debut in a Worthington Cup tie against Sunderland in November 2000.

His only other appearance in Sir Alex Ferguson's side came in the same competition against Arsenal earlier this season.
