Money's ambition may have led him to look elsewhere
Walsall owner Jeff Bonser says he does not feel let down by Richard Money after the manager walked out on the club just before the end of the season.
Money won the League Two title in his first year in charge and was close to making the the League One play-offs this time round.
"It's a personal decision and I don't feel let down," Bonser told BBC WM.
"I was a little bit stunned with two games to go but after 20 years in football nothing surprises me much."
It's an unusual position where a guy's resigning because he's been successful

The Walsall owner now begins the search for a new manager after two seasons of real success for a club that was at something of a low-point when Money took over.
"It's an unusual situation in football where a guy's resigning his position because he's been successful," Bonser said.
"Most managers get sacked because they've been unsuccessful but this hasn't happened to Richard, he thinks it's best for the club that he moves forward."
Jimmy Mullen is in charge of the first team for the final away game of the season at Huddersfield on Saturday.
