Walsall have completed the signing of Derby County winger Lee Holmes, 20, on loan for the rest of the season. The former England Under-19 skipper made his Rams debut when he was only 15, and has since made more than 50 league and cup appearances for them.
"I'm certain he will be an exciting addition to the squad," boss Richard Money told the Saddlers' website.
Meanwhile, defender Richard Taundry, 18, has signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2010.
Holmes' arrival will help fill the gap left by Paul Hall's move to Wrexham earlier in the day.
