Tranmere Rovers sign Michael Kay & Tony Warner

Tranmere Rovers have signed Sunderland defender Michael Kay on a one-month loan deal and veteran goalkeeper Tony Warner until the end of the season.

Kay, 21, is a product of Sunderland's youth system and has played for England Under-21s as well as spending time on loan at Gateshead this term.

Warner, 36, is a former Liverpool, Swindon Town and Celtic player and made 200 appearances at Millwall.

He left Scunthorpe in November after playing twice in a short-term spell.
