Tranmere captain Ian Thomas-Moore banks on home wins
Thomas-Moore scored the opener in the 2-1 win over Yeovil on Tuesday
Tranmere captain Ian Thomas-Moore believes home games at Prenton Park will be key if Rovers are to survive relegation from League One this season.
Tranmere managed a 2-1 victory over Yeovil at Prenton Park on Tuesday to leave them three points from safety.
"Every game at home is a must win for us," he told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"At this stage in the season we've got to start picking points up. We must keep plugging away, picking points and we should be ok."
Rovers' league form over recent months has improved as they have collected four wins and only fallen to defeat twice in their last 10 league matches.
Despite this improvement, Thomas-Moore says teams around the Prenton Park outfit have been collecting points as well.
"People are winning games above us and I've been in this position once before and you can run out of games," he continued.
"If we set a bench mark of around 50 points, we'll be there or there-a-bouts. Fifty points should be ok, but as long as we stay out of trouble that's the main thing.
"The last thing we need is to fall out of this division."
