Tranmere bring in Rovers' Wilson

Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of Doncaster Rovers midfielder Mark Wilson on a one-month loan.

Wilson, 29, began his career at Manchester United before spells at Middlesbrough and FC Dallas.

He joined Doncaster in November 2006 after leaving Dallas and has made eight appearances for them this season.

Manager Ronnie Moore said: "Mark is a quality midfielder. He's a good passer of the ball who can play either the holding or attacking roles."

Moore added: "He played more than 30 games last season in a side that got promoted and he has been involved this season too and I'm really pleased to have him here.

"I'd like to thank Doncaster manager Sean O'Driscoll for allowing him to join us for a month."
