Goodison signs new Tranmere deal | | Tranmere Rovers defender Ian Goodison has signed a two-year extension to his contract that will keep him at Prenton Park until June 2009. The 34-year-old former Jamaica international joined Rovers from Hull City in February 2004 and has played 128 games for the club. Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore told Rovers' website: "Ian has been our top player this season. "He is the best centre-back and keeping him shows the club's ambition."
