Tranmere have won the race to sign Hull winger Kevin Ellison and have also snapped up defender Robbie Stockdale. Liverpool-born Ellison becomes Ronnie Moore's first signing as Tranmere boss after moving for an undisclosed fee.
The 27-year-old, who was also being chased by Scunthorpe, Bristol City and Chester, has agreed a two-year deal.
Stockdale, 26, who previously played under Moore at Rotherham, has also agreed a two-year contract following his release from Hull last season.
Meanwhile, defender Michael Jackson, 32, has not been offered a new deal.
