Tottenham Hotspur man Tom Huddlestone eyes top four

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Huddlestone says the squad are capable of a top four finish this season.

Spurs currently sit in fourth place, three points above Liverpool and Manchester City.

The 23-year-old was instrumental in Tottenham's 2-0 victory over Fulham on Tuesday night.

He told BBC London 94.9: "If we can do as well as we were at the start of the season, there's no reason why can't finish in the top four."

They travel to Birmingham City on Saturday, who are also in contention for a Champions League spot.

Blues' impressive run of 15 games unbeaten came to end on Wednesday, after a 3-0 defeat at Chelsea.

Huddlestone now expects a tough test at St Andrew's.

"It's going to be a difficult game, their crowd are virtually on the pitch," he said.

"It's going to be one of those games where you have to try and grind it out and get three points."

Huddlestone believes that it will be a tough race for fourth spot and any one of four clubs are in the running to secure the final Champions League spot.

"Man City still have two or three games in hand, so they are probably the biggest threat," Huddlestone said.

"Saying that Liverpool are a massive club with great players, as are Aston Villa.

"I'd say its probably between the four of us."
