Spurs and Sevilla end Ramos case

Juande Ramos
Ramos has struggled since leaving Sevilla in October 2007

Tottenham and Sevilla have reached an undisclosed out-of-court settlement over the departure of Juande Ramos from the Spanish club two years ago.

Sevilla accused Spurs of making an illegal approach for Ramos, who moved to England in October 2007.

Ramos's contract with Sevilla ran to the end of the 2007-08 season.

The 54-year-old Ramos was sacked by Tottenham in October 2008 and had a six-month spell at Real Madrid in the second half of last season.

During his time with the Madrid club, Real were knocked out of the Champions League by Liverpool and finished second to Barcelona in the Primera Liga - the Catalan club beating Ramos's side 6-2 in their Bernabeu stadium.

And at the end of the season Ramos was replaced by Manuel Pellegrini.

Ramos twice won the Uefa Cup, as well as the Spanish Cup, the Spanish Super Cup and the Uefa Super Cup during his time with Sevilla.
