Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric has suffered a partially torn groin muscle which is set to keep him out of action for two weeks.
An MRI scan revealed the extent of the injury which forced the Croatia international off at half-time in Spurs' defeat by Fulham at the weekend.
Modric is likely to miss Premier League games against Blackburn and Everton and the Uefa Cup tie away to NEC Nijmegen.
The 23-year-old has made 11 appearances since joining Spurs from Dinamo Zagreb.
After a slow start in the Premier League, Modric has played a key part in Tottenham's recent revival under new boss Harry Redknapp.
