Chris Gunter believes there is life at Spurs without Dimitar Berbatov
Wales and Tottenham defender Chris Gunter believes the club are still a force, despite the loss of striker Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United.
The former Cardiff City teenager insists 27-year-old Berbatov's 30.75m move to Old Trafford has not affected the White Hart Lane club's ambitions.
"We will be able to cope without Dimitar and I don't think his move has affected the squad," said Gunter.
"If anyone needed any proof of that it was Sunday's draw at Chelsea."
As well as gaining an impressive point at Stamford Bridge, Gunter believes Spurs have also been boosted by the signing of Manchester United forward Frazier Campbell.
"I've seen Frazier Campbell playing for Hull (during a loan spell) and I think he has done well and will be a useful addition to the squad," added Gunter.
"With Frazier coming in and the confidence we gained from Sunday, I think we will be looking to kick on after we come back from the international weekend."
