King was dogged by injury problems last season |
Tottenham boss Martin Jol hopes Ledley King will return to full training in two weeks, with a view to being back in the first team by the end of November. The 27-year-old England defender and Spurs skipper has not played since undergoing knee surgery in the summer.
Jol said: "He is still making progress and hopefully he will be back with the group in two weeks time, maybe longer.
"He is naturally fit so hopefully it would take another two or three weeks from then before he is ready."

King, who missed seven months of last season with foot problems, was initially earmarked for a return to action at the start of this campaign.
Tottenham have struggled in his absence, managing just one win in the Premier League all season.
Meanwhile, Tottenham's young French centre-back Dorian Dervite has returned to training this week after a long lay-off with a serious knee injury.
